While persusing images of wildlife, I noticed that chameleons had circular skin markings which simply called out for mosaic representation with filati. This image was drawn based on a compilation of such images. Melting Mexican and Italian smalti to hand-pull the colors I had in mind was a very joyful experience. Other materials used: slate and copper ribbon.
