Sacred Ground I – this is the first in a series of spaces that I find special. Although this mosaic is the inside of St. John’s Monastery in Cambridge, MA, a sacred space can be anywhere that one finds peace. It can be indoor or outdoor, among human made beauty or nature’s own beauty. This particular mosaic is made from stone, ceramic and glass tesserae, as well as tinted thin set.
