Octopus’s Garden

Octopus’s Garden is a playful mosaic that has many curiosities. Plus It is impossible to know how many octopi are hiding in this garden. This pieces illustrates my love of combining natural and found objects that I have saved over years and then creating a joyful dance amongst the pieces. One of my favorite pieces is the Peace Dove that was once a pin made by a Nicaraguan artist. The original pin came from Stone Soup Coffee House and was sold to raise money for the Nicaraguan people.
